Members of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences Appointed to New Forensic Science Standards Board (FSSB) Sub-Committees

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) announces that 13 of its legal, academic research and forensic science expert members are among appointees selected to serve on three newly established sub-committees of the Forensic Science Standards Board, which has been established to develop and adopt standards and guidelines for the forensic science community in the U.S.

The Human Factors, Legal Resource and Quality Infrastructure Sub-Committees will support all Organization of Scientific Area Committees components, including Biology/DNA, Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis, Physics/Pattern, Crime Scene/Death Investigation and IT/Multimedia, on questions related to law, workflow process, and quality assurance.
