MemSQL Expands Leadership, Names James Nagel Vice President Of Sales

SAN FRANCISCO, July 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MemSQL, the big memory technology company, today announced James Nagel has joined the company as vice president of sales. Nagel is a veteran sales executive who brings deep expertise in highly sophisticated quantitative trading and research solutions and a solid knowledge of trading and execution platform integration to his role at MemSQL. Nagel will lead MemSQL's sales organization, reporting directly to Eric Frenkiel, MemSQL's CEO and co-founder.

Nagel joins MemSQL from OneMarketData, a provider of enterprise tick-data solutions for financial institutions worldwide, where he served as director of sales selling complex event processing (CEP), financial tick-data management and analytics solutions to banks, hedge funds, financial market data institutions, exchanges, commodities trading advisors, asset managers, proprietary traders and pension funds. Prior to OneMarketData, he was senior sales executive for capital markets at Progress Software, overseeing sales of its leading algorithmic trading platform..

Nagel holds a Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York at Oneonta.
