Mendor Announces Partnership with A. Menarini Diagnostics for European-wide Distribution of its All-in-one Blood Glucose Monitoring System

Mendor, the Finnish diabetes technology company, is proud to announce its partnership with A. Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l, one of Europe's leading diagnostics companies in the field of diabetes. The agreement will bring Mendor's all-in-one blood glucose monitoring system to nine new European markets in the first stage as a part of Menarini's established GlucoMen product family for glucose testing.
A. Menarini Diagnostics S.r.l was founded in 1976 and today has a European-wide organisation with a headquarters based in Florence and a network of fourteen fully owned affiliates. Its 2012 turnover was approximately 300 million Euro.
A. Menarini Diagnostics has more than 35 years of experience in blood glucose monitoring sales and marketing in European markets providing Mendor with an experienced and successful partner in its commercial expansion in the EU area. Menarini Diagnostics are renowned for offering cutting edge, high quality products, dedicated to exceeding the needs of healthcare professionals and to enhancing the quality of life of patients - the same values that have driven the development of Mendor's products. The first launches of this BGT system are scheduled in the near future in key European markets.
Mendor's all-in-one blood glucose monitoring system is a unique device that contains all the necessary components for daily blood glucose measurements: a meter, 25 strips and a lancing device in an integrated, stylish device the size of a mobile phone. It is designed to simplify the lives of people with diabetes who need to test their blood glucose levels regularly. The device will be launched under the name of GlucoMen READY.
Through this new partnership Mendor hopes to ensure its continued growth and expansion within important European markets and facilitate on-going negotiations in new territories with key companies in the global diabetes market like Menarini. The partnership complements Mendor's previous distribution agreements with Merck Serono Ltd. in the UK, Mediq in the Baltics, and continues the already mutually rewarding partnership with A. Menarini Diagnostics Nordics in Sweden.
