Mental Health Organization Taps Ericom to Equip Hundreds of Case Workers Using Chromebooks with Browser-Based Access to Windows Environments

CLOSTER, N.J., Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ericom Software, a global leader in application access and desktop virtualization solutions, has been chosen by Continuum of Care to provide up to 700 case-workers with remote, 24-hour access from Chromebooks to Windows desktops.

Headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, Continuum of Care, Inc. runs approximately 40 residential homes in different locations throughout the state. Seeking a simpler and more reliable mobile computing solution than netbooks, Continuum turned to Chromebooks, which at a price point of $300 per device, were also a more cost-effective alternative to traditional laptops.
