Merrick Bank expands availability of its goScore™ service

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrick Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of CardWorks, Inc., today announced that all Merrick Bank credit card customers can now receive their FICO® Score at no charge, every month, as part of the FICO® Score Open Access program, using Merrick's goScore service. Since November 2012, goScore was provided as a complimentary benefit for those Merrick Bank customers who enrolled in paperless statements. Now, its goScore service is being made available at no charge to all its credit card customers who are enrolled for online access, regardless of whether or not they elect the paperless statement option.

Merrick Bank created the goScore service to make the FICO® Score based on credit data from TransUnion, LLC available to its customers to enable them to closely monitor their credit profile. goScore provides cardholders with access to their FICO® Score along with FICO® educational content, and score explanations, charts, and trends to help them understand why and how their scores can change over time. "There is a difference between knowing your credit score and understanding what that number means," stated Steven Scullion, Chief Credit Officer at Merrick Bank. "With goScore, our customers will gain valuable insights to help them easily understand the key factors that affect their FICO® Score," he added.

By expanding the availability of goScore, the majority of Merrick Bank customers will now see each month their most recently updated FICO® Score.
