MetroPCS Goes Live with Bridgewater for 4G LTE

CHICAGO, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ - Bridgewater Systems (TSX: BWC), the mobile personalization company, today announced that MetroPCS Communications Inc. has launched the Bridgewater® Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and Policy Controller (PCRF) to deliver 4G LTE services.

• The Bridgewater Policy Controller, which supports 3GPP PCRF Release 7, 8 and 9 standards on the same platform, provides real-time network, application, and subscriber policies to manage mobile data growth and deliver personalized services; and
• The Bridgewater Home Subscriber Server, a master repository that contains subscriber and device profile and state information, and manages subscriber identities, service profiles, authentication, authorization, and quality of service in real time.
