MG Capital Appoints Meera Chandramouli as Director and Senior Counsel

NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- MG Capital^®, the premier real estate private equity investment manager specializing in Manhattan luxury residential properties, announced today the appointment of Meera Chandramouli as Director and Senior Counsel. She will join the Fund Management Team at MG Capital's headquarters in New York.

In her new role, Chandramouli will be responsible for all legal matters surrounding MG Capital's transactions and firm operations. Her responsibilities will include contributing to business operations as well as negotiating, structuring and documenting a variety of transactions such as fund formations, venture capital investments and dispositions of previously acquired companies or investments. Chandramouli's appointment contributes to MG's growth strategy by bolstering the firm's operational excellence and continuing building on its existing resources.

Chandramouli will operate under the direction of MG Capital's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Eric Malley. In addition to overseeing all legal matters, pertaining to M&A and capital raising efforts, Chandramouli will also serve as the primary liaison with outside legal counsel. She will also manage general compliance and risk-management within business operations.

Chandramouli joins MG Capital from Arent Fox LLP where she worked on white collar investigations and commercial litigation. Meera holds a Bachelor's in Economics from New York University and a J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School. Additionally, she received a Certificate in Business Economics and Public Policy from The Wharton School.
