MHA Keystone Center Goes Live Across Michigan with ArborMetrix Clinical Performance Analytics for Obstetrics

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ArborMetrix, Inc., a leading provider of a private cloud-based healthcare analytics platform, today announced that the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) Keystone Center has begun using ArborMetrix's RegistryMetrix™ to monitor the appropriateness of obstetrics care being provided to patients across the state.

The MHA Keystone Center is using a customized version of the application with approximately 60 hospitals to capture obstetrics data and performance reports that can help improve patient safety and reduce costs.

RegistryMetrix is an advanced clinical registry tailored for the specific needs of specialty provider groups or quality improvement collaboratives. It enables organizations such as the MHA Keystone Center to define clinical measures for a specialty's most important conditions and rapidly deploy comparative performance reports through a private cloud-based platform.

• Discouraging elective deliveries before 39-weeks' gestation
• Increasing assessments and preparedness for post-partum hemorrhage
• Tracking newborn admissions to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
