Miami Beach Plastic Surgeon and Facial Anatomy Educator Dr. Benjamin Eskenazi Joins Faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium

Benjamin Eskenazi MD, FACS, a double board-certified plastic surgeon, facial anatomy educator, and founder of Avabello Aesthetics, has been named to the faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium taking place at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.  Dr. Eskenazi will be performing live injection demonstrations during the pre-symposium Anatomy & Injection Masterclass on November 5, 2026. On November 7, he will deliver a MainStage lecture on full-face treatment sequencing to aesthetic providers from across the country and abroad.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Benjamin Eskenazi MD, FACS, a double board-certified plastic surgeon, facial anatomy educator, and founder of Avabello Aesthetics in Miami Beach, has been named to the faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium, presented by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Dr. Eskenazi will serve as a co-instructor for the Anatomy & Injection Masterclass, where he will perform live injection demonstrations on Thursday, November 5, and will deliver a MainStage lecture titled "Sequencing the Full Face — What You Can Undo, and What You Can't" at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7.

The IAFA Aesthetic Symposium brings together physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and dentists who practice facial aesthetics, along with faculty from across the country and abroad. The 2026 program runs November 6 and 7 and pairs morning lectures and live patient demonstrations with small-group, hands-on afternoon workshops. Topics span injection safety and complication management, neurotoxin and filler techniques for the upper, mid and lower face, combination treatment planning and emerging aesthetic technologies.

Dr. Eskenazi's MainStage lecture opens the Saturday morning session on Combination Therapies and Regenerative Aesthetics. His talk addresses the order in which full-face treatments are planned and performed, and the practical difference between choices that can be adjusted or reversed later and those that cannot. The session is aimed at injectors who want a framework for building comprehensive full face treatment plans that maximize aesthetic outcomes while maintaining flexibility for future treatments.

Before the main program begins, Dr. Eskenazi will join the faculty of the Anatomy & Injection Masterclass, a five-hour pre-symposium course on facial anatomy and injection technique on Thursday, November 5, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. The masterclass is led by Professor Sebastian Cotofana, MD, PhD, PhD, a facial anatomist and educator, and combines instructor-led cadaver dissections with live patient injection demonstrations and real-time facial ultrasound. As each anatomical layer is dissected, faculty correlate it with injection technique in real time, covering neurotoxin treatment of the forehead, glabella and crow's feet as well as filler treatment of the temples, tear troughs, cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, chin and jawline. Dr. Eskenazi will perform live injections on stage alongside co-instructors Terry Alford, DMD; Lanna Cheuck, DO; Barbara Brandt, APRN; Jill Campbell, MSN, FNP-C, CANS; and Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS.

The format draws directly on Dr. Eskenazi's teaching background. He has served as faculty and proctor for nearly 100 cadaver labs and headlined the Evolus "Evolution Tour" in 2023, educating more than 1,000 aesthetic providers across 65 cities and 30 states. He also consulted on filler complications for the launch of Evolus' Evolysse™ filler line, developing educational resources and protocols centered around facial vascular anatomy, safe injection techniques, and the recognition and management of adverse events.
