Miami Herald Poll Reveals Walkable Communities Number One Amenity For Buyers

Downtown Miami was cited in the report as among the hottest neighborhoods and the city's most undervalued. The anonymous survey conducted over several months polled 105 major developers and real estate professionals.  Among its findings? The number one amenity for foreign and domestic buyers was walkability.

The report also said that despite residential real estate prices shooting up 40 percent since 2012, most of Miami's top real estate professionals surveyed expect home values to continue appreciating over the next 12 months.
