DETROIT, Feb. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kolene Corporation President Scott Schilling announced the appointment of Michael A. Axline to Vice President of Engineering of the corporation effective immediately. Mr. Axline is a 29 year employee at Kolene and will lead all engineering and facilities activities for the company.

Axline, 45, joined Kolene running blueprints in 1987, eventually working his way up to draftsman. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1993. He has served in various engineering roles during his time at Kolene and was previously promoted to Manager of Engineering in 2006, then Director of Engineering in 2014. Mr. Axline and his wife Melissa have two grown children and reside in Redford, Michigan.
