Michael Chang & Kei Nishikori Compete for Charity In World Class Tennis Doubles Pro Exhibition
2017 Michael Chang Tennis Classic to Benefit HomeAid OC and Chang Family Foundation, Expected to Raise $100,000+
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- World champion tennis players Michael Chang and Kei Nishikori will compete in a World Class Doubles Pro Exhibition to raise funds for HomeAid Orange County and the Chang Family Foundation. Chang became the youngest male player to win a Grand Slam singles title when he won the French Open in 1989 at 17. Nishikori is currently ranked in the World Top 10. Chang has served as Nishikori's coach since 2014.
Being held at 5:00 p.m. on July 29, 2017, the exhibition match is part of the Michael Chang Tennis Classic (MCTC) fundraiser event being held at the Newport Beach Tennis Club, 2601 Eastbluff Drive, Newport Beach. The MCTC fundraiser also includes a USC vs. UCLA Undercard Match and a silent auction. General admission tickets are $50 (ages 12+) and $25 (ages 11 and under). A buffet dinner is available for purchase.
