Michael Galligan Promoted to General Manager of the Residence Inn Round Rock in Austin, Texas

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce Michael Galligan has been promoted to general manager of the Residence Inn Round Rock in Austin, Texas. Previously Galligan was the general manager of the Fairfield Inn Austin South.

Galligan has over six years of experience in guest relations and hotel management complimented by a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Convention and Event Management from the Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis. Galligan began his hospitality career as rooms controller at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown before advancing to night auditor supervisor and front desk manager. After two years in Indianapolis, Galligan moved his hospitality career to Austin, Texas where he gained additional experience in housekeeping and front office with Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites brands.

While looking forward to 2013, one of Galligan's main priorities is to learn the Residence Inn brand.
