Michael J. Chapman, Ph.D. Joins Ankura as Senior Managing Director

Michael J. Chapman holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has more than 20 years' experience providing economic, financial and strategic consulting services to both public and private companies, as well as law firms and governments. He has served as an economic expert, conducting analysis in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, semiconductors, computer software, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, steel, agricultural products and consumer goods.

Before joining Ankura, Dr. Chapman was a vice president for Analysis Group, Inc. where he addressed economic issues in a variety of litigation contexts, including intellectual property, antitrust and commercial damages.

Prior to his fifteen-year tenure at Analysis Group, Inc., he was a strategy specialist for McKinsey & Company and an international trade attorney for Shearman & Sterling. While a practicing attorney, he represented companies and governments in antidumping and countervailing duties proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce, the US Court of International Trade and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
