MicroPact Announces Inaugural Innovation Challenge Program

BALTIMORE, April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroPact, a leader in the development of case and business process management (BPM) software, today announced the launch of the MicroPact Innovation Challenge.  The announcement was made at the Gartner Business Process Management Summit 2012 in Baltimore where MicroPact is demonstrating their unified, open architecture approach to BPM.

The MicroPact Innovation Challenge empowers entrepreneurs to identify opportunities for new, innovative business applications that ultimately drive efficiency and address organizational challenges. The competition will recognize real-world application ideas to be implemented as entellitrak solutions and sold in the marketplace. MicroPact's entellitrak is a unified BPM platform for case and business process management that uses core technologies to streamline work for business and IT professionals, making rapid business application development a reality.

MicroPact will accept submissions twice a year in the Summer-Fall and Winter-Spring series. Submissions for the 2012 Summer-Fall series will be accepted beginning June 1, 2012 with winners announced monthly from July 1, 2012 through October 2012. Entries will be judged on the description of their business challenge and effective demonstration of a solution utilizing the entellitrak unified BPM platform and its market potential. For selected submissions, winners will receive a minimum $500 cash prize, royalty revenue from sales associated with the solution and publicity and recognition through MicroPact's semi-annual awards program. The judging panel will include members of MicroPact's executive team.
