MicroStrategy Announces New High Performance Business Intelligence Course

TYSONS CORNER, Va., May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroStrategy® Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence (BI) software, today announced a new, two-day course, "Deploying MicroStrategy High Performance BI."  The latest addition to MicroStrategy's comprehensive education curriculum, this course presents best practices for implementing MicroStrategy applications to achieve a high performance BI environment.

In the course, students will learn how to deploy a high performance MicroStrategy platform by optimizing five key areas of a BI system: in-memory caching and cubes, data transfer, system configuration, client rendering, and data source access.  Students will also learn the basics of performance testing methodology and how to choose the right types of tests for specific performance requirements. In addition, the course includes a hands-on workshop that focuses on improving dashboard performance.
