Mid America Logistics Announces Expansion to New Markets and Trucking Division Fleet

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mid America Freight Logistics, LLC and Mid America Freight Handlers, LLC collectively operated as Mid America Logistics, answering strong demand for its asset and brokerage business, today announced plans to expand in multiple markets throughout North America and to expand its fleet respectively.

The expansion will augment office openings this year in Cincinnati, Ohio, Charlotte, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida. Each office starts initially with four employees with budgeted expansion to 20 team members per location within the first 24 months of operation.

Mid America Freight Handlers will also expand its asset truckload capacity significantly over the next 24 months. The firm is adding between 3-5 trucks per month to its fleet through 2018.

Mid America Logistics shipping volume year to date has increased 22 percent since last year and the number of trucks it operates through its asset division has doubled in 2017. The company aims to book over $85 million of revenue in 2018.
