Midas Hospitality Appoints SS&C as Administrator for Opportunity Zone Fund

WINDSOR, Conn., Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC), today announced that Midas Hospitality (Midas), has hired SS&C GlobeOp to provide administration, treasury and investor services for its Midas Opportunity Zone Fund, LLC. The fund will leverage SS&C's recently launched Opportunity Zone Fund Administration Solution designed for the federal Qualified Opportunity Zones (OZ) program.

Midas Hospitality – a premier hotel development, management and investment firm – develops and leads award-winning, select-service and extended-stay hotels across the U.S. for global brands including Marriott, Hilton, and IHG. Midas's newly-formed Opportunity Zone Fund will own and operate two hotels in qualified OZ in St. Louis, Missouri. Under the Opportunity Zone program, investors can defer tax on any prior gains by investing them in a qualified opportunity fund. To maximize these benefits, investments are required by December 2019. Midas selected SS&C for its proven real asset expertise and technology.
