Midea Introduces New Lineup Of Window Air Conditioners

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Summer is on the horizon, which means warmer weather is on its way! Midea - the world's number one air treatment company* - is excited to introduce its new SmartCool lineup of residential air conditioners to help consumers keep their cool when the heat rises. Available now at Sam's Club, Midea's SmartCool series, which consists of four models, provides comfort at any temperature, from cooling and dehumidifying to ventilating.

SMARTCOOL SERIES
The SmartCool series' cooling capacity ranges from 8,000 to 25,000 British Thermal Units (BTU/h) and can cool rooms up to 1500 square feet. New models within the series will respond to voice commands through Google and Alexa enabled devices. Users can change cooling settings and other features via voice when they have an Echo or Google Home device with the Midea AC Skill installed. Midea's AC units are also compatible with the MideaAir app which brings cloud-based control to any smartphone or tablet in and out of the home or business.

The new SmartCool series is also Energy Star^® certified with its built-in EnergySave feature, users can further conserve energy and in turn save money on utility bills. Additional built-in features include EasyTimer which enables users to program their unit to turn on/off only when at home, as well as SleepWell which allows the air conditioner to auto adjust for maximum sleep comfort.

Designed with a stylish, exclusive touch control panel and clear LED display on the front panel, the SmartCool series is ideal for most spaces. Additional features include: a 24-hour timer mode to match consumers' schedules so it turns on automatically before they get home and off again when they leave for work; sleep mode which automatically adjusts the temperature at bedtime and maintains maximum sleeping comfort.

DEHUMIDIFIER
In addition to the SmartCool series, Midea is also introducing a new 70-Pint Dehumidifier. The new dehumidifier comes with a pump to protect spaces up to 1550 square feet from mold and mildew caused by excess moisture. It can also help consumers breathe easier by eliminating bacteria in the air that's hard on lungs. Midea's dehumidifier can work continuously to ensure seamless operation when the unit is located near a suitable drain. It also comes with a washable filter for easy cleaning in addition to a one-year warranty.
