Migo, the Search App for On-Demand Rides, Launches in Washington, DC

SEATTLE, Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Migo, the search app for on-demand rides, has launched its free new service in Washington, DC this month, after successful launches in Seattle and Portland in Q3. Migo is the first app available in the U.S. that allows users to search, compare and hail multiple types of personal transportation, such as Lyft, Car2Go, Yellow Cab, Limebike and more, without having to jump from one app to another. The Migo app displays real-time data for price estimates and wait/walk time - and makes it possible to search, hail and book a ride, all from within the Migo app. In-app payment is available for many partners today and will be expanded in the future.

Migo launched first in Seattle and Portland on the iPhone, and is expanding quickly to additional markets, like DC, and to Android.  In addition to expanding to additional markets the Migo team has been regularly adding or testing new services, like bikeshare and public transit.   

Migo has seen significant growth in its initial markets since their launch this summer.  Since launch, the Migo app has been used over 20,000 times.  In this same period downloads are up over 1000% and hails generated for Migo partners are up over 1500%.
