MIKE MAROONE HONDA TO HOST 9TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mike Maroone Honda proudly announces the 9th Annual Mike Maroone Honda Car Show benefiting Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, taking place Sunday, October 11, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Mike Maroone Honda, 1103 Academy Park Loop, Colorado Springs.

Building on the success of last year's show, which raised $34,000 for Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, this year's event brings together car enthusiasts, families and members of the community for a fun day in support of Habitat's work right here in our local community.

Car enthusiasts from across the region will showcase their vehicles, with judging and awards held at 2 PM, where 18 trophies and awards will be presented in categories such as People's Choice, Most Unique, and Best Race Car. The family-friendly day also includes face painting, low car limbo, a Hot Wheels play area, a Power Wheels race for the kids, tug-of-war competitions, 35 plus vendors and food vendors, and live music.

This year's show also features a Car Giveaway. Entries are just $5 each, with no limit on the number of entries, for a chance to win a running and driving car. The winner will be announced at the show during the awards ceremony and must be present to win.

All proceeds will benefit Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity, supporting their work building safe, affordable housing for families in the Colorado Springs community.

"Nine years in, this show has become one of the highlights of our year, not just because of the incredible cars, but because of what it represents," said Zach Lewis of Mike Maroone Honda. "Our team feels strongly about giving back to the families and neighbors who make Colorado Springs home."

"Every dollar raised helps us build safe, stable housing for local families. The fact that it's done through a day of celebration, family fun, and community spirit makes it even more special," said Iain Probert, Chief Strategy Officer at Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity.
