Mike McArthy Named 2015 Chicago CFO of the Year® For Mid-Size Private Company

UNION, Ill., Nov. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mike McArthy, INTREN Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, has been named the 2015 Chicago CFO of the Year® for Mid-Size Private Company by the Financial Executives International (FEI) Chicago Chapter. McArthy accepted the award at the 5th Annual Chicago CFO of the Year® Award Gala, held in Chicago on Thursday.
The Chicago CFO of the Year® Award honors senior financial leaders who have made significant contributions to a business with quality, insight and direction. Award recipients are chosen by a board of esteemed judges based on a rigorous selection process.

McArthy was selected for this prestigious award for his leadership through a period of exponential fiscal and geographic growth. Since joining INTREN in 2012, McArthy has lead revenue growth from $124M to $279M and personnel growth from over 800 employees to 1,200 employees. McArthy oversees Support Services at INTREN including Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Project Management, Fleet Services, and Procurement.
McArthy's previous experience includes Vice President and Chief Financial Officer positions with private companies and divisional CFO roles for public companies. McArthy is a registered CPA with an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a BS in Operations Management from Illinois State University. He has also completed numerous executive programs at Northwestern University, University of Chicago and Harvard University. Mike coaches various Special Olympic sports teams in his community for NWSRA (Northwest Special Recreational Association). Mike, his wife and their two sons live in the suburbs.
