Milbank launches new and improved 12kW home standby generator

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Milbank is pleased to announce the launch of its new 12kW home standby generator. Installed on residential properties to provide backup power in the event of an outage, the new 12kW model provides homeowners with a smaller, quieter and more powerful generator solution.

Some of the many improvements to the 12kW model include a significant decrease in sound decibel rating as well as a front exhaust, which allows for flexible placement as close as 18 inches from the home^*. Its engine has been replaced with the trusted Briggs & Stratton Vanguard™ engine, and its AGM battery replaced by an easier-to-maintain lead acid battery. The new model also boasts one of the smallest footprints and lowest weights in the industry in its kilowatt size.
