EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Space Systems is pleased to introduce Jim McClelland as its Vice President of Mission Engineering and Operations. Mr. McClelland joins the company to further develop its growing portfolio of defense, civil and commercial space customers, bringing over 30 years of hands-on spacecraft engineering and management experience – spanning TRW Space & Electronics, Spectrum Astro, DigitalGlobe^TM and most recently, SkyBox Imaging.

McClelland is responsible for leading and growing the company's government & commercial space portfolios, driving affordability, responsiveness, resiliency and performance. A major focus of his role will be providing mission and system solutions to address our customers' critical needs. Jim holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University.
