Millennium Space Systems Appoints Robert Newberry as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Space Systems announces the appointment of Robert (Bob) Newberry (USAF-Ret) as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, as the Company expands both its manufacturing & productions facilities and its satellite design and development business base.

With his broad and deep set of experience across the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and NASA, Bob brings a wealth of understanding of the Company's products and services as well as its customer base.

Bob served with distinction through several assignments in the United States Air Force: as Deputy Commander of the USAF Advanced Development Directorate (previously known as SMC/Det 12) at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; as Chief of the Responsive Space Division at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California; as Commander of the National Reconnaissance Office's Advanced Technology Group; as Senior Materiel Leader at USAF Space & Missile Center's Remote Sensing Program Office (SMC/RS), Replenishment Division; and most recently as Chief of the Foreign Military Sales Program for the F-16 fighter, at Hill AFB, Utah.

Mr. Newberry holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. He also earned a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Air Force's Air War College.
