Million Dollar Shot Featured at OC Golf Tournament

Secure One Capital and Caterina's Club Team Up to Make a Difference

COSTA MESA, Calif., July 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Costa Mesa-based Secure One Capital Wholesale Lending has announced its intention to host a charity golf tournament to benefit Anaheim-based charity, Caterina's Club. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 15, 2017, at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine at 11:00 am.

The tournament will feature a Million Dollar Shootout sponsored by Ytel a communications software company. Three golfers will win the chance to attempt a hole-in-one for $1,000,000. According to Strawberry Farms' representative Tom McCray, "It is the first time that a million-dollar shot has ever been offered at Strawberry Farms." Organizers are also planning to offer the opportunity to bring home a new car with a hole-in-one shot at one of the courses par threes.

An added attraction to this special event will be a helicopter ball drop, in which, participants may take a chance to win up to $25,000. Event co-chair Gary Nakamura stated, "The helicopter ball drop is especially exciting because anyone in the world may buy a chance since you don't have to be present to win," adding, "Heck, even the astronauts on the International Space Station could win."

Los Angeles Rams' legendary quarterback, Vince Ferragamo will be hosting a VIP meet and greet as well as the awards dinner. He will be joined by celebrity chef Bruno Serato, founder of Caterina's Club and owner of the Anaheim White House Restaurant. They will be joined by other celebrities and VIPs who have yet to be confirmed.

Secure One Capital owners, Jim Pate and Ryan Marier created a values statement, which includes giving back to their community. They have empowered Director of Business Development, Bill Robertson to find worthwhile causes in Orange County and the surrounding areas as part of their Secure One Community initiative. "We are committed to making a difference for our clients and in the community," stated Marier.

Secure One Capital has been a steady player in the direct to consumer mortgage market but has recently expanded its wholesale division throughout California, Washington, Texas, Florida and New Jersey. This tournament is the wholesale division's first major event, bringing together brokers, loan officers, Realtors, account executives, and companies, which provide mortgage and real estate services.

Pate remarked, "Caterina's Club is an amazing organization, which feeds over 3,000 children every day in the OC and south LA County." The organization was founded by Chef Bruno when his mother Caterina witnessed children at the local Boys and Girls Club eating potato chips for dinner. She challenged Bruno to something about it and the rest is history. Chef Bruno has received many honors for his work including being named a CNN Hero.
