Billboard broke the news earlier today, revealing the firm's rebranding to Milom Horsnell Crow Kelly Beckett Shehan PLC.

Matthew Beckett is a 30-year entertainment veteran whose perspective on the music industry began long before his legal career. He grew up near Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where his father, producer Barry Beckett, was one of the "Swampers;" a group of studio musicians immortalized by Lynyrd Skynyrd in the song "Sweet Home Alabama." His father's career allowed Beckett to cross paths with industry greats including Atlantic Records co-founder Jerry Wexler, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger Glen Frey, Dire Straits and Alabama. Beckett moved with his family to Nashville, Tennessee in 1985, where he earned a BBA with a Concentration in Music Business degree at Belmont College. After stints as a production assistant, music publisher and recording engineer on several Grammy-nominated albums, Beckett graduated from law school and has been representing clients in all facets of the music industry for the past 11 years.

Beckett serves as a current member of the TBA, ABA, CMA, and the ACM as well as an Adjunct Professor at Belmont University. Additionally, he served on the Counsel for the Entertainment & Sports Law section of the TBA (2010 - 2013); Chair of the Entertainment & Sports Law Section of the TBA (2011-2012); and on the Criteria Task Force for the Alabama Music Hall of Fame (2009 and 2011).

Molly Shehan graduated in the first class from Belmont University's College of Law and received her BBA in Music Business from Belmont University. Prior to attending law school, she interned for the Nashville Music Council for two years and built many relationships with leaders in the Nashville music community. During law school, she interned for Congressman Jim Cooper in Washington, D.C. and focused on entertainment and technology related legislative issues, including copyright reform. Shehan was the 2009 Copyright Society of the South scholarship recipient and received the John Williams Heart of Belmont Award for her community involvement while at Belmont. Shehan is passionate about advocating for creatives and serving the creative community in a legal capacity.

Shehan served as the 2017/2018 Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA), is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame's Troubadour Society Advisory Committee and is a member of 2018 Class of Grammy Next.  Additionally, Shehan serves on the Board of the nonprofit Unscripted and is a volunteer lawyer with the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville. Shehan is a current member of the Country Music Association (CMA), Academy of Country Music (ACM), and The Recording Academy (NARAS) and is a Society of Leadership in Development (SOLID) alumni.
