Minnesota Dental Association Announces 2016-17 Officers
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota Dental Association recently held its annual House of Delegates Meeting at the Hilton Airport Hotel in Bloomington where new officers were elected.
The newly-elected 2016-2017 officers include: Dr. Kevin Dens, as president; Dr. R. David Resch as president-elect; Dr. David Andersen as first vice-president; Dr. Stephen McDonnell as second vice-president; and Dr. Douglas Williams as treasurer. Dr. Howard Taylor will continue his term as speaker of the house.
Dr. Dens practices at Cosmetic and Family Dentistry in Baxter. Dr. Resch practices at Associated Dentists in St. Paul. Dr. Andersen practices at David Andersen, D.D.S., P.A. in Park Rapids. Dr. McDonnell practices at Associated Dentists in St. Paul. Dr. Williams practices at Great River Dentistry in Bemidji. Dr. Taylor practices at Advanced Dental Group in St. Anthony.
Dr. Bret Cooper (Bemidji) was elected to fill an expiring trustee term in the Northwestern District. Dr. Rosalie Perpich (Stillwater) was elected to fill a vacating trustee term in the Saint Paul District. Dr. Tim Holland (Owatonna) was elected to fill an expiring trustee term in the Southeastern District. Other trustees currently serving include: Dr. Teresa Fong (Minneapolis), Minneapolis District; Dr. Maureen Sorensen (Worthington), Southern District; Dr. Mike Miskovich (Grand Rapids), Northeastern District; Dr. Amber Cziok (Litchfield), West Central District; and Jane Yang (Minneapolis), Student District.
