HOUSTON, Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Minute® Rice announces the Love Every Minute™ Holiday Recipe Contest in partnership with Allrecipes.com, the world's largest social community for home cooks.
In the spirit of holiday giving, home cooks have the opportunity to share their favorite Minute® Rice holiday recipes for a chance to win a Grand Prize of $1,500 cash or one of two other cash prizes. Contestants can enter the contest by visiting www.Allrecipes.com/holidayrecipecontest.

To enter the contest, consumers must submit an original recipe, which includes any Minute® Rice product, a list of ingredients and amounts, and preparation method. Contestants are also asked to write 100 words on how Minute® Rice makes it easy to love hosting holiday meals for family and friends.
The recipe submissions will be judged on taste, appearance, ease of preparation and originality. The contestant whose entry achieves the highest total score across all judging criteria will be awarded the Grand Prize of $1,500 cash. The first runner-up will be awarded a cash prize of $350, and the second runner-up will be rewarded a cash prize of $150. Additionally, five honorable mention prizes will be awarded.
