Miss CHI Model Search Launches at Miss Universe

Farouk Systems and its CHI Creative Artist Team (CAT) have already been creating and styling the hair of all the Miss Universe^® contestants for preliminary events and photo shoots. CAT will also be busy back stage styling hair during the live telecast.

The 2012 Miss Universe^® Competition will be held in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Theatre for Performing Arts on December 19, 2012. It airs LIVE on NBC at 8:00 p.m. EST in the United States, with a Spanish simulcast on Telemundo. This year's pageant will be hosted by Andy Cohen, host of Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" and Giuliana Rancic, co-anchor of "E! News."

The CHI team will be tweeting live from backstage to give @CHIhaircare followers behind-the-curtain access, and exclusive product giveaways starting at 1:00 p.m. EST, in partnership with Ulta and Beauty Brands.
