Mix More Than a T&T: Tanqueray® Gin and Soul Singer Aloe Blacc Empower Fans to Remix His Latest Track

NORWALK, Conn., Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time in the United States, the Makers of Tanqueray® Gin and soul singer Aloe Blacc, best known for his hit single I Need a Dollar, invite music fans to remix Blacc's latest, Tanqueray-inspired, track on GoMix.com, an interactive music format which allows music fans to remix and share songs by major artists.  

A face of Tanqueray Gin's new brand platform 'Tonight We Tanqueray,' Blacc drew inspiration from Tanqueray's style when writing and producing Tonight Downtown, a song that captures the feeling of anticipation for the night ahead. Now Blacc is asking music fans all over the world to create and share their interpretation of Tonight Downtown by submitting a track that gets their feet tapping and heart thumping.

By visiting facebook.com/tanqueray and selecting the GoMix.com tab, the application puts the control board in the people's hands.  Add more piano or deepen the bass, whatever envisioned is possible with a click of a button.  Blacc himself will review submissions through the GoMix.com application.

Tonight Downtown will also be available for download through Tanqueray's recently launched interactive experience that invites viewers to discover what it means to 'Tanqueray.' Upon entering a virtual bar, you can navigate through individual storylines by moving the mouse left and right. Each path chosen will lead to another experience and also unlock behind-the-scenes content of Blacc and the Tonight Downtown music video.
