MJBizDaily donates over $240,000 to Cannabis Industry initiatives via 2017 Industry Giveback Program
DENVER, Feb. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Marijuana Business Daily donated approximately a quarter of a million dollars through their Industry Giveback Program in support of organizations focused on industry building areas like professional development and inclusion, sustainability and community development, as well as legal advocacy across the cannabis industry.

Additionally, support also included donations to immensely important initiatives such as those led by the Cannabis Canada Association, Hemp Industry Association (HIA), National Hemp Association (NHA), and Puerto Rico Medical Cannabis Association, Inc. (PRMCA) for disaster relief.
Ms. Farrington closed her remarks by stating, "We feel strongly continued support of key legal advocacy groups in the United States will continue to be important. But expanding and supporting not for profit initiatives that build a stronger industry across numerous sectors is equally critical to the cannabis industry's growth." Additional legal advocacy recipients of 2017 Industry Giveback funds included: Americans for Safe Access (ASA), Drug Policy Alliance, Marijuana Policy Project Foundation (MPP), and NORML Foundation.
