MNC Media Investment Ltd Announces Appointment of Ruihua Certified Public Accountants LLP as Independent Auditor

SINGAPORE, Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- MNC Media Investment Ltd. (ASX: MIH) ("MMIL" or the "Company"), a provider of media and entertainment content and services in key strategic markets in Asia, today announced the appointment of Ruihua Certified Public Accountants LLP ("Ruihua") as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm.

Ruihua replaces Mazars LLP ("Mazars"), previously the independent auditor for MNC Media Investment Ltd. Ruihua has begun providing services effective immediately and is working with MMIL and Mazars to ensure a seamless transition. The appointment of Ruihua have been approved by the Audit Committee, with the concurrence of the Board of Directors of the Company.

The audit reports of Mazars, the consolidated financial statements of MMIL and subsidiaries as of and for the years ended December 31, 2013 and 2014 did not contain any adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, nor were they qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles. The decision to change auditors was not the result of any disagreement between the Company and Mazars on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure.
