EMERYVILLE, Calif., Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In the fourth quarter of 2010, MobiTV, Inc. is tracking to deliver historic live event volume to its more than 14 million managed subscribers. The company's technology platform powers TV experiences for every major carrier as well as content-branded mobile applications for some of the most demanded consumer applications.  


MobiTV Inc.'s platform is on pace to deliver nearly 1,400 live events in Q4. This activity represents a 14.8 percent increase in the number of live events covered and a 13 percent increase in number of hours, with on-time delivery, versus the previous quarter. The company will exit the year averaging 130 live sporting events per week.


Growing demand for live sports from connected consumers is driving this increase.
