Always Evolving Racing was founded by the late Roger Rodas who tragically lost his life last November along with actor/racer Paul Walker in an accident involving their Porsche GT following a charity event.  Good friends and fellow racing enthusiasts, Rodas and Walker were also business partners, having co-founded Reach Out Worldwide, a group of first responders who help people affected by natural disasters.   Since their founder's untimely death, the Always Evolving family has regrouped and sourced several new sponsors to continue racing; and established "Racing in Honor" as their internal mission for the 2014 season in his memory.

Rookie driver James Davison produced a 16^th place Indy 500 finish in the Always Evolving Racing entry.  At one point Davison had moved into 13^th position and was pushing forward until being checked up late in the race. "I'm racing in honor of Roger Rodas, and this all comes down to him," said Davison.
