Mohu Continues to Gain Momentum With 700% Growth in 2012

RALEIGH, N.C., March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Mohu announced revenue grew 700% last year and is expected to increase 300% in 2013. Since introducing the Leaf antenna in March 2011, the company has quickly positioned itself as a leader in the "cord-cutting" movement currently underway in the United States.  Mohu estimates it has saved its customers more than $220 million in monthly cable and satellite bills.

Yahoo!/CNBC recently released its annual Top 10 Gadget list, and in it named the Mohu Leaf among the top ranking products alongside the Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle.  Throughout 2012, the Leaf ranked second in the Television and Video category on Amazon.com just behind the Apple TV.  The technology behind the paper-thin Leaf antenna is a byproduct of research conducted for the United States Navy by Mohu's engineers and was based on a discreet mud flap antenna designed for use on armored vehicles.
