Merchants will be able to use Canada's first and only smartphone-based mobile debit and credit point-of-sale solution on both Android OS and Apple® iOS®
TORONTO, Aug. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - PAYD PRO, Canada's first and only smartphone-based mobile point-of-sale solution ("mPOS") in Canada to accept both Interac® Debit and credit card payments, will be available on Android Operating System beginning mid-September. Moneris Solutions Corporation ("Moneris"), Canada's largest credit and debit card processor, plans to introduce additional features for PAYD PRO in the fourth quarter of 2014 including a tip/gratuity feature, E-mail receipting, and the ability to tie multiple users to one account.
PAYD PRO is the only payment solution in Canada that accepts both Interac Debit and credit card payments and is the first mPOS product to include EMV® Chip & PIN and contactless payment technology. Moneris continues to commit resources into the development of new PAYD PRO features and add-ons.

This innovative payment solution allows merchants to process payments securely, anywhere they do business. Merchants connect a portable Bluetooth®-enabled PIN Pad to a smartphone or tablet running the PAYD app, to process sales in any physical location. The mPOS solution accepts Interac Debit, Discover®, VISA®, MasterCard® and American Express®, giving customers a wide range of payment options.
PAYD PRO has no set-up fees or fixed-term contract and minimum processing or transaction volume limits, providing mobile-businesses with a cost-effective way to offer a variety of payment options to their customers.
