MongoDB 3.0 with Wired Tiger: New Benchmark Measures Performance vs. Couchbase Server 3.0.2

PLANO, Texas, March 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Avalon Consulting, LLC today announced the release of a white paper offering the results and analysis of a performance benchmark comparing Couchbase Server 3.0.2 and MongoDB 3.0. The study, conducted independently by experienced NoSQL experts at Avalon, concluded that Couchbase Server 3.0.2 performed at a scale many orders of magnitude greater than MongoDB 3.0 on the key technical measures of concurrency, throughput, and latency.  Additionally, in terms of a critical business performance measurement, the cost per operation for an enterprise-scale deployment of Couchbase Server was calculated to be as low as 22% of that for MongoDB.  The full performance benchmark study is available for download.
