Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, Returns to the Georgia Dome for one Final Race

ATLANTA, March 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Round 8 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and FIM World Championship, took us to Atlanta, Georgia for one final hurrah in the legendary Georgia Dome. It was the final Monster Energy AMA Supercross race in the Georgia Dome, and marked the "hometown" race for title sponsor, MicroBilt PRBC. Nearly 90 MicroBilt PRBC employees and 30 clients spent the day with Team MicroBilt PRBC Yoshimura Suzuki for a world-class supercross experience including time with team rider, Ronnie Stewart, tours of the team rig, top-notch hospitality, and viewing of all the day's events.

As part of the Team MicroBilt PRBC Yoshimura Suzuki's mission to give back to U.S. active duty and military veterans, an online contest was held for the opportunity for one serviceman or woman to win a full VIP Supercross experience at the event. Dillon Diaz was the winner, accompanied by his wife and two friends. Thank you, Dillon, for your service!

The evening started out great for #606, Ronnie Stewart, who qualified in 27^th, easily earning his place in his 8^th consecutive night show of the season. Ronnie's qualifying time of 55.850 placed him only 5.114 seconds behind fastest qualifier. Stewart would finish 13^th in his heat, later competing in Semi Race 2, finishing in 15^th. The Yushimura Suzuki rider earned a few more laps in the 450SX Last Chance Qualifier, finishing in 12^th. Although Stewart was excluded from the Main Event, his fans continued to cheer him on in their matching yellow Ronnie Stewart shirts. Team MicroBilt PRBC Yoshimura Suzuki looks forward to another appearance in a 450SX Main Event soon.
