Monster Offers Delivers On Product Roadmap Strategy

Launch is First in a Series of Daily Deal Mobile Apps

Apr 11, 2012, 09:00 ET from Monster Offers

SAN DIEGO, April 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Monster Offers (OTCBB: MONTD), a leading Daily Deal analytics provider and aggregator, today demonstrated its continued commitment to the daily deal industry with the release of a new daily deal mobile app called Monster Daily Deals that provides users with quick and easy access to local deals by category and GPS location.

The Monster Daily Deals app, a collaborative effort with leading app developer and marketing partner, Iconosys, provides a simple interface where users can quickly spin through categories to search the Monster Offers database of thousands of local daily deals including Groupon, Living Social, Yelp, and many other popular local daily deal providers – all from their Android Smartphone.

This new app is available now and can be downloaded from many sources including the Android Google Play market, the website, the App Hysteria Store, GetJar, and soon from the Amazon App Store.  An iPhone version of the app is in development with an anticipated release in early July, 2012.

In recent years, the daily deal industry has swelled to thousands of companies offering such promotions, from Groupon and Living Social to Amazon and Ebay; even national and local radio, television, and newspaper media companies have jumped on this new business wave as a fantastic source of growth and revenue, while gaining access to new customers.  The concept, popularized initially by Groupon, has emerged as a significant driver of new business for companies offering their products and services to the general public.

Last June, Inc. Magazine reported that for 2011, sites offering Daily Deals were expected to generate $3 billion in revenues, and that, according to a BIA/Kelsey estimate, this revenue number should reach $4 billion by 2015. And it also appears that consumers who would like to participate in these promotions are still leaving a lot of money on the table.

According to one September 2011 estimate, approximately $577 million in Daily Deals (or 22%) that are in fact purchased go unredeemed.  This suggests that consumers still need help to target and nail down the deals that are best for them, and this is precisely where the Monster Daily Deals™ App can save the day!  See 9/21/11 article at Read Write Web
