Montage Announces Three More Hospitals Implement Their On-Demand Search and Data Mining Technology for Radiology Studies

CHICAGO, Nov. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Montage Healthcare Solutions announces that their enterprise search and performance analytics technology has been implemented and is in productive use at three additional customer sites: Keck Medical Center of USC, Children's National Medical Center and University Health Network. Montage enables radiologists, researchers, educators and other clinicians to search their own radiology information system (RIS) and electronic medical records (EMRs) for specific diagnosis. "Montage's natural language processing (NLP) engine searches all medical imaging reports within our systems; and its Google-like user interface is so easy to use that the radiologists find the cases they need by themselves—without any IT support," mentions Kevin Wang, IT Manager, Imaging and Laboratory Services, Keck Medical Center of USC in Los Angeles, California. Approximately 60 clinicians use Montage at USC. "When you have so many images, it's difficult to find a pattern or remember a specific case," Wang adds.
