Montana Silversmiths Selected for "All Access with Andy Garcia" Segment Highlighting the Artisans Behind Rodeo's Championship Buckles

BILLINGS, Mont., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Montana Silversmiths Inc. has been selected to appear on "All Access with Andy Garcia" in an upcoming educational segment exploring the skilled craftsmanship and Western heritage behind championship belt buckles. Filming on November 5, 2026, in Columbus, Montana, the series will highlight the people preserving this specialized art and the importance of passing their knowledge to future generations.

In rodeo, championship buckles represent years of dedication, perseverance and achievement. Worn with pride and often passed down as family heirlooms, they carry stories that extend beyond the competition arena. The segment will explore this cultural significance while introducing viewers to the intricate work that transforms a design into a lasting symbol of accomplishment.

Through the perspectives of Montana Silversmiths' master engravers, viewers will learn about hand engraving, bevel cuts, detailed etching and the company's signature bright-cut designs. These techniques demand precision, patience and years of experience, reflecting the artistic judgment that gives handcrafted details their distinctive character.

The story will trace the company's beginnings in 1973, when a small operation making custom buckles and awards for the local community laid the foundation for a Western jewelry and accessories business. Against that backdrop, the segment will examine what it takes to sustain skilled manufacturing in a rural community, including hands-on training, mentorship and opportunities for younger generations to build rewarding careers.

As technology reshapes manufacturing, the series will consider how traditional craftsmanship can evolve while retaining the human creativity and connection to place that make it meaningful. All Access is pleased to partner with Montana Silversmiths to bring this story of artistry, achievement and small-town American manufacturing to Public Television audiences.

"Every championship buckle tells a story of determination, grit, and achievement. Behind every buckle and piece of silver jewelry are our craftspeople whose passion, talent, and dedication transform raw materials into meaningful symbols of expression. There will always be value in skilled and caring hands, artistic vision, and the pride that comes from creating something meant to endure. We're proud to share our story of American craftsmanship.", said Callie Adams, Vice President of Marketing, Montana Silversmiths Inc.
