Montana Tucker Releases Emotional Official Music Video For "I'm Not Alone"
LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Earlier this month, Montana Tucker, award winning singer and dancer, released her debut single "I'm Not Alone," showing the full scope of her artistry, and adding songwriter to her long list of accomplishments.
The official music video for "I'm Not Alone," released today, features dancers with Dwarfism, Down Syndrome, Spinal Bifida, Facial Deformities, plus size dancers, and those who can't hear. Led by Tucker however, they excel in a dance; and are given the ability to share their stories. A video so powerful, it causes viewers to question what a limitation really is.
Tucker, widely known for her dancing, shows the variety of her voice on the record, which shares the emotional message to people struggling with physical and mental disabilities that they are NOT ALONE. While the release of the song is another step in her music career, it has more importantly become part of a movement, and inspired Tucker to form a non-profit organization. It's namesake: "I'm Not Alone," echo's the sentiments of the track.
Through her enormous platform, Tucker does not stop with redefining what is possible in the realm of dance. She is also using a percentage of the revenue from streams of the song to donate to non-profits under the umbrella of her Non- Profit Organization. Including, but not limited to the Village of Miami for Alzheimer's, The Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles, and the American Heart Association of Los Angeles. She will also be using her audience on Instagram to spread awareness of these causes, while also creating and sharing dance videos revealing some of the stories of others overcoming their hardships.
Prior to its release, "I'm Not Alone" was selected by Zumba to be the title track for their "Party in Pink" breast cancer awareness campaign this year. Just this week, she surprised an international audience at the kickoff for #ZINCON 2018 in Orlando, Florida, by performing the song accompanied by breast cancer survivors.
Zumba instructors from around the world have been sending in their own renditions or inspiring stories, which live on Montana's Instagram highlights. It is evident that this is the song and message the world needs right now. "It's been my goal to share my passions by giving an uplifting experience and to give confidence back to people with limitations, whether these limitations are emotional or physical, through my song I'm Not Alone. It's been a lifelong mission of mine to help others conquer their fears through dance and music," said Tucker.
Her single, "I'm Not Alone," is dedicated to those who have overcome limitations, not only physical but emotional as well.
