More than 40 companies, 730 journalists gearing up for record-breaking ShowStoppers press event at IFA in Berlin

BERLIN and AUSTIN, Texas, July 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 40 companies are gearing up to show hundreds of journalists what comes next in consumer electronics and home appliances at ShowStoppers @ IFA 2014, the Official Press Event of IFA, the global tradeshow that moves markets and inspires buyers.

More than 730 journalists from 56 countries are pre-registered, so far, to explore the new technologies for work, home and play at the invitation-only press event.

The industry leaders, innovators and startups expected to give hands-on sneak peeks at news and new products include, among many, Corning, DJI, Honeywell, Intel, Jabra, Kobo, Olloclip, Otterbox, Plantronics, Toshiba and WowWee.

The seventh edition of the annual official press event at IFA is set for Thursday, 4 September; IFA 2014 takes place 5-10 September in Berlin, Germany.
