BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Moringa Wellness, South African manufacturers of a unique, high-quality Moringa traditional and functional line of products, is attending September's ECRM® EPPS event in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Vitamin, Weight Management and Sports Nutrition Efficient Program Planning Sessions (EPPS) is a trade show where vitamin and nutrition companies, like Moringa Wellness, will have the opportunity to, represented by Brian Gould and Jeff Fernandez, network with major retail buyers in private sessions to present their products. The event will take place at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4.
"We believe that our line of products will be successful this year at ECRM because all products contain Moringex, a Moringa extract from the Moringa tree, which contains seven times the Vitamin C found in oranges, four times the calcium as found in milk and four times the beta-carotene as found in carrots," David Collett, Moringa Wellness CEO, said.
Moringex is derived using a reverse osmosis technique of the Moringa leaves, sourced from Zambia and Malawi, Africa, which are later spray dried and added to products. Its purpose is to remove the Moringa flavor without removing its nutrients and functionality, so that muffins, cereals, powders and other foods can be made lacking Moringa flavor.
"The benefits of Moringa and its extracts are many," Collett said. "There is evidence supporting Moringa's ability to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol levels, as well as reduce inflammation. More studies need to be done to prove the efficacy of these properties in Moringa, but many customers swear by it. It's especially popular for weight loss and beautification. People have used Moringa medicinally since 2000 B.C."
EPPS is a branch of the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM®) event series where brands are able to have direct discussions with retailers and other brands about business objectives like product launches, marketing campaigns and more. Some of the major retailers include Amazon.com, Costco, CVS, GNC, Harris Teeter, LuckyVitamin.com, Meijer, Sam's Club, The Fresh Market, Vitamin Shoppe, Walgreens, Whole Foods and more.
