IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Morningside Recovery is partnering with The Los Angeles Training Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling to provide a day of education and networking for industry professionals on Friday March 9, 2018 at Morningside's clinical campus in Irvine, CA from 8:15-5 PM PST.
The presentation, hosted by Morningside and The Los Angeles Training Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling, is titled "Law & Ethics and More!" The educational event will allow industry professionals to receive 6.5 continuing education units or CEUs. Substance abuse counselors, licensed clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists and healthcare professionals can join in the day of networking and education.
The day will feature several different speakers as well as a welcome breakfast, lunch and networking hour. Well-known industry professionals from The Department of Children and Family Services, Center for Healthy Sex, Orange County Social Services, The Los Angeles Training Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling and more will speak on various topics throughout the day.
Morningside Recovery is proud to partner with The Los Angeles Training Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling to host this educational event. The institute is a CCAPP-approved school that offers the Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate Program for those who want to prepare to become a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Along with this, they offer continuing education units for already certified counselors.
