Mortgage Lender "VOWS" First Time Homebuyers

TUCSON, Ariz., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- First time homebuyers Donovan Riley and Rebecca Noreen made a vow to Jeff Miller, Sr. Loan Officer with PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company, on January 20, 2016.  This vow, along with their mortgage loan, had a 30-year term.  On April 9, 2016, these happy homeowners made another promise in front of Jeff Miller, but this vow was "till death do us part."

"When I found out during Donovan and Rebecca's loan application that they were engaged and planning an April wedding, in somewhat a joking manner I told them I was ordained last year and if they needed an officiant for their wedding, I would be happy to step in," said Miller. "I never expected I would actually be called to task."

In March, however, the couple were having trouble lining up an officiant, and reached out to Miller to see how serious he was about officiating for them. 

"Because of the relationship we had built during their home loan, I actually felt very comfortable with Donovan and Rebecca," said Miller.  "It was an absolute honor and pleasure to officiate their wedding ceremony." 

The evening ceremony took place at Tohono Chul under a canopy of white lights.  In front of family and friends, with their mortgage lender leading the service, Donovan and Rebecca said their "I do's" and became man and wife.

"It's been great to have Jeff in our life during both of these momentous occasions," said Rebecca Donovan (nee Noreen).  "We loved the ceremony and think Jeff may have found a second calling!"
