FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mosaic and the Greater Merrifield Business association will present the tenth annual Merrifield Fall Festival on October 17th from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.. The event will take place throughout Mosaic, where guests will be able to spend the day surrounded by food, live music, beer gardens and more.
Attendees will be able to enjoy two beer gardens. One will be presented by 3 Notch'd Brewery and the other will be presented by Matchbox and Port City Brewery, recently tabbed as the best small brewery in the country at the Great American Beer Festival.
The vast food offerings will include some of Mosaic's premier restaurants, including DGS Delicatessen, Brine Raw Bar & Rotisserie, Sisters Thai, and Iron Chef House Sushi. Mosaic's restaurants will be joined by other local favorites, including Blackfinn, Open Road Grill, Dickey's Barbecue, Scoops for You Ice Cream, Trio Grill and Flippin' Pizza.
Live music will play on The Village at Mosaic, featuring popular local acts like School of Rock, Split String Band, Right Handed Lefties and Irresponsible.
The Fall Festival will also feature numerous family-friendly activities, including pony rides, a photo booth, a pumpkin patch and train rides. For the first time, the festival will also feature a pet costume competition in The Village at Mosaic. Pets will be awarded with prizes in the following categories: scariest costume, funniest costume and most creative costume.
Another new addition to the festival is this year's fitness zone. Featuring trainers and representatives from Spark Yoga, Xsport Fitness, lululemon athletica and City Sports, attendees of the fitness zone will be able to take part in special workout classes and enter to win drawings for additional prizes and discounts.
