SEATTLE and AMSTERDAM, Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MotherDuck, the serverless data warehouse built on DuckDB, today announced the private preview of its first European region, hosted in Frankfurt (AWS eu-central-1). The expansion enables European businesses to leverage MotherDuck's revolutionary hypertenancy architecture while ensuring complete data residency within EU borders, addressing critical compliance and performance requirements for organizations across Europe.

The EU region launch addresses growing demand from European companies seeking cloud-scale analytics without the complexity and overhead of traditional distributed data warehouses.

Netherlands-based same-day delivery company Trunkrs migrated from Amazon Redshift to MotherDuck to power real-time operational decisions across their frozen goods delivery network.
