Motorola Mobility, Alongside Mayor Emanuel, Announces Global Headquarters Move to Downtown Chicago

CHICAGO, July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Motorola Mobility was joined by Mayor Rahm Emanuel today as it announced that it will relocate its Libertyville, IL headquarters to downtown Chicago's Merchandise Mart in summer 2013.  Motorola Mobility will become the landmark building's largest tenant and will occupy nearly 600,000 square feet on the top four floors and the rooftop.

Attracting corporate headquarters to Chicago is a central focus of the Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs, produced by World Business Chicago earlier this year. This is the seventh headquarters relocation to Chicago announced during the Mayor's tenure.
